Samba OG – Crystal White/Preloved Red-Gum
After the resounding success of the ongoing collaboration with Grace Wales Bonner’s eponymous label, adidas looks to bring a similar delicate touch to their mainline product.
With the stellar run the silhouette is having, it makes sense that the Samba would get a rework. Loose woven textile across the uppers brings the coastal vibe, complemented by the suede overlays which keep things connected to the Samba’s history. Similarly the gum sole reminds us of the shoe’s life as an indoor sports shoe well before it was gracing every influencer’s feet.
