Superstar x NEIGHBORHOOD – Grey/Footwear White
Japanese streetwear legends NEIGHBORHOOD® have had a long-lasting relationship with adidas. For 2024 they revisit one of their most iconic original creations in a new way.
When it debuted in 2005, the adidas 35th Anniversary Superstar by NEIGHBORHOOD® stood-out in a group of killer releases. Almost twenty years later, the Superstar returns in a contemporary execution which sees the uppers painted entirely in a shade of neutral grey. Only bright white hits of the NEIGHBORHOOD® logo and Jolly Roger at the heel break the tonal theme.
The midsole features a unique double-layer design which sees the heel section sporting an extra piece of moulded rubber that resembles the same lightning bolt motif used on the later Gazelle which NEIGHBORHOOD® released in 2006.
