LWST – Core Black/Wonder Beige
Originally introduced in 1995 as the Norton, legal action saw adidas’ early foray into skate footwear change its name. Whilst the adimatic had no issues, thanks to legal action the chunkier cousin Norton had to switch names after success in Japan. In-step with attitudes of the time, the Norton was renamed adidas Lawsuit—later stylised as the LWST.
Whilst the name might have changed the heavy-duty uppers remain relatively unchanged from the mid-90s. The distinctive grooved sole and wide stripes fit well into the current fashion landscape—these are the real deal though.Â
