You might say that the 860v2 has been New Balance’s golden goose, the recognisable sole tooling has been used on the 2002R and 1906R to great effect but the 860v2 is where it was originally debuted back in 2010. Whilst aforementioned models have seen plenty of versions over the past few seasons, the 860v2 has been much harder to find.
NB shows some love to their star child with a unique trio as part of the ‘Milky Way’ pack. The material mix combines the same shiny metallic panels and breezy open-pored mesh used on the shoe originally, with a colour combo that draws inspiration from the cosmic wonder that is our home galaxy.
