10ozIDGIDG × 8ozIDGIDG RINGOMAN Coverall – Indigo
The RINGOMAN jacket is somewhat of an enigma even by Kapital standards. The name might bring about thoughts of a certain Beatles member but if you’re familiar with Kapital’s naming conventions then looking to the Japanese language helps. In Japanese ringo [りんご] means “apple”. By that logic this coat may have origins in the world of apple picking. That might explain the curious pockets…
Those aforementioned pockets are odd in both shape and placement. Up front you have some pretty standard locations, but it’s abundantly clear one is larger than the other. The construction itself is made with two weights of over-dyed denim: 10oz for the body and 8oz for the sleeves/pockets – something you appreciate in person. The bar-tacked reinforcements are finished in a contrasting red as well for another level of detail.
