Air Max 1 ’86 Premium – Summit White/Phantom-Photon Dust-Black
In order to pay homage to arguably the most impactful Nike technology created, the Air Max gets a unique rendition that looks like it was lifted from ancient ruins.
Dubbed the “museum masterpiece” Nike takes things in a more literal direction by creating a shoe that looks as though it might have been carved from a solid block of marble. Rather than rely of photorealistic prints, the design team figured the Air Max icon deserved the full suite of treatments with heavily textured leather mimicking stone and even added effect to the slab-sided “big bubble” midsole giving it a granular finish.
