Gazelle Icon x Bad Bunny – Core White/Core Black-Gum
adidas and rap superstar Bad Bunny continue their partnership with another installment which sees the Gazelle Indoor reworked in the artist’s signature style.
The uppers feature a distorted effect, with the toebox being warped and off-centre. Unusual detailing continues with a fabric foxing wrap and ‘misplaced’ tongue logo which is attached at the heel—not great if you have some sort of anxiety around people knowing your shoe size.
Similar to previous releases with Bad Bunny, there’s some fancy business going on with the tongue. At a glance it’s pretty standard, but a closer look will reveal it’s a double-layered affair secured with pop buttons. If you’re not feeling it, then simply remove the top layer or flip it and wear it as a lace shroud.
