ASICS calls-upon Korean fashion label THEMUSEUMVISITOR for their latest special release. Comprising a triple-header release on the Kayano 14, the brand’s unique aesthetic creates a new take on the retro runner.
Inspiration unsurprisingly comes from the art world, resulting in a unique rendition of the GEL-Kayano 14. The shoe consists of two clear features, the gradient effect—inspired by spray paint—and the bespoke tongue which sports oversized ASICS branding forming a lace shroud.
These details give a unique character to ASICS’ current hero lifestyle silhouette, adding a fittingly contemporary edge to a well-known classic.
