New Balance continues to extend the life of the famed 1906 with their latest re-working of this 2000’s icon. The 1906U—for ‘utility’—sports a new layout on the uppers which seems a myriad of overlaid and intertwined panels.
This highly technical combination is reminiscent of some more up-market mish-mash shoes we’ve seen from brands like Maison Margiela and Balenciaga. The difference is that NB makes the shoes which inspired the fashion labels…
