Justin Saunders and the JJJJound footwear design team are back with another entry to their New Balance collaboration collection. This time working on the 2002R silhouette, a JJJJound touch adds an understated and functional update to the ubiquitous model.
Built-out from a black base, the suede overlays provide a break from the sytnehtic mesh and reflective accents. Beneath the layers of mesh and suede is a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane which is guaranteed to keep you dry no matter what the weather.
The utilitarian build is complimented with functional details, like the bungee elastic laces and custom metal toggle—for the less adventurous these can be swapped with the regular cotton laces provided.
