M990AC6 × Action Bronson “Lapis Lazuli”
After the first collaboration between Action Bronson and New Balance catapulted the 990v6 into the public consciousness the duo are back for a second round. Dubbed “Lapis Lazuli” the precious rock provides its electric blue hue as the main inspiration for the colourway.
Although less of a technicolour wonder than the first release, Baklava and NB didn’t short us on colour this time either. With a whole host of blues and greens being used across the shoe to great use there’s still plenty of fun to be had.
For anyone familiar with Bronson, the palette is perfectly suited to the big man’s own neo-retro aesthetic. Just as comfortable with a pair of short as a baggy jean, there’s probably no point trying to explain much more because you know exactly what you’re here for.
