Oval Cabachon Band (Blue) – 925 Silver
Smooth polished silver surfaces of this band ring from Bleue Burnham are interrupted by deep cavities whose rough texture contrasts not only the metal but the precious stones as well.
The setting resembles a similar technique used on the Chloroplast ring, albeit in a smaller format. The ring’s name comes from the cut of sapphires it uses, which are polished to a smooth finish as-opposed to being faceted. The result is a depth of colour which glows rather than sparkles.
